Who or what inspired you to become a teacher? My younger brother inspired me to become a teacher. I didn’t know what I wanted to do until my brother was born & I realized I HAD to work with children. It is so rewarding to get to be a part of a child’s life.
My best day in the classroom was when….My kiddos are happy! I enjoy the days when my kids enjoy it too. I love seeing them interested in the day’s activities and watching them learn and grow. But really, my best days are everyday because I work with a great co-teacher and great kids.
If you could have one teacher superpower what would it be? Being able to get the room quiet with the snap of a finger.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? I enjoy spending time with friends & family. I enjoy hiking, going to movies and hosting game night.
What else would you like to share about yourself or profession? I am so lucky to have the opportunity to work with children and families. Being a teacher is not an easy task but it is worth the hard work. I may teach children, but they certainly teach me as well. I strive to be a better teacher for them.
