In the classrooms: A special “Kids in the Kitchen” event will bring children and their parents together to learn healthy eating tips and tricks. Cooking together connects math with literacy skills, science, and more.

In the classrooms: Children at Early connections and CPCD will be planting learning gardens at various locations. When children build together they explore math and science concepts and develop social and early literacy skills.

‘ART ON THE STREET’ The biggest (and cutest) art gallery you’ve ever seen…Thousands of preschoolers throughout the community will display their personal art project today.
In the classrooms: Early Connections’ children will make garden decorations. Children develop creativity, social skills and fine motor skills with open-ended art projects where they can make choices, use their imaginations, and create with their hands.
